Shenzhen, China – October 13, 2025 – JET Energy has successfully completed a fire burn test for its flagship product, the GreenArk Pro Balcony Energy Storage System, to comprehensively verify its safety performance under extreme fire conditions. After being exposed to intense flames for 30 minutes, the system did not experience any explosion or internal combustion, demonstrating its superior safety and reliability.

The test simulated a severe real-world scenario in which a balcony energy storage unit is exposed to continuous fire. During the test, approximately 25 kilograms of wood were ignited beneath the GreenArk Pro system. The fire reached temperatures exceeding 500°C within 5 minutes and sustained this heat level for 30 minutes. The objective was to assess the product’s resilience and safety in the event of an actual fire.

After extinguishing the flames, the system remained structurally intact with no external damage or internal thermal runaway. A post-test teardown revealed that the battery pack maintained its full integrity, further validating its exceptional stability and safety.

Safety performance is one of the top concerns for consumers of solar and storage products. JET Energy adheres to a design philosophy of high quality and high safety, focusing on every detail from components to system integration to deliver an exceptional user experience. The tested product, GreenArk Pro Balcony Energy Storage System, features industry-leading semi-solid-state batteries that remain non-flammable and non-smoking even under extreme conditions. It supports up to 8,000 charge cycles, and its modular design allows stackable battery expansion—up to six battery packs for a total capacity of 15.6 kWh. The inverter supports up to 2,800 W of PV input power, delivering both power and flexibility for home energy users.

While most mainstream commercial batteries still rely on liquid-based technologies such as lithium-ion (NMC) and lithium iron phosphate (LFP), JET Energy has taken the lead by adopting semi-solid-state battery technology to ensure higher safety and reliability. Compared with traditional liquid batteries, the solid electrolyte in semi-solid-state batteries can withstand temperatures above 900°C, offering stable chemical properties and being inherently non-flammable. This design fundamentally eliminates the safety risks associated with separator and electrolyte failures in liquid batteries.
Semi-solid-state technology represents a key milestone in the evolution from liquid to fully solid-state batteries, shaping the core direction of next-generation battery innovation.
Looking ahead, JET Energy will continue to invest in R&D and technological innovation to deliver cleaner, smarter, and safer balcony solar and storage solutions—empowering users worldwide to build a sustainable energy future.
